Privacy statement

Draft for the pilot. To be checked by a lawyer before public launch.

The short version

Your records are yours. We keep them private and secure, use them only to run Dwellhub for you, and never sell them. You decide what to share, with whom, and for how long.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and, if you give it, your mobile number.
• The properties you add and the records you upload.
• A log of who viewed or changed your records, which you can see.

Who can see your information

Only you, and anyone you choose to share with. Your agent, Tim McGuire of McGuire Real Estate, can see your name, contact details and the properties you add, so he can keep you updated. He can't see your documents unless you share them.

Where it's kept

On secure servers in Australia, encrypted when stored and when sent. We use trusted providers to run the service, under agreements that protect your information.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see or correct your information at any time, or ask us to delete your account. Email hello@timmcguire.co.nz.

If something goes wrong

If a privacy breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as soon as we can.
